A computational chemistry project where I simulated the Diels-Alder reaction to demonstrate regioselectivity. The project used GAUSSIAN software on a Linux-based supercomputing cluster to model the reaction and Sage and Maxima analyze the results.

Today I managed to get a few things done and have some fun. It was a school day, so I got the kids to school in the morning. After that I went to the store and ran a couple errands. Then I did some dishes and made hot dogs for lunch. I filled the sink with more dishes, expecting to come back and finish them, but never got around to it. I finished reading chapter 7 of ISLR, and even got the kids homework done in the evening!
